Yael Stone
Stone was born and was raised in Sydney, Australia, where she attended the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone started acting when she was a toddler. Her roles included Me Myself and The Farm. Stone was primarily involved in stage productions. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she took home the prizes for the Best Newcomer as well as Best Supporting Actress for her role as the character The Kid. The television show she appeared on featured support performances in All Saints, Spirited and others. From 2010 to 2011 in The Diary of a Madman. In this role, she was awarded a nomination in The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011 she traveled from Sydney to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the leading roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
